Dear twomoonsrestoration2012,

Just to let you know the Tsuka arrived safely today and I am absolutely delighted with it. I must say I didn't want to disturb the wrapping with the splendid seal at first. You have done an absolutely amazing job, utterly superb. I've fitted it to the tang and wow! The sword has come back to life. I've just got to put some polish on the leather field scabbard and clean the blade a little. Give me a day or so to take some photographs and I will download them and send them to you for your website.

Thank you ever so much.

Best wishes

Mike

Dear twomoonsrestoration201

Let me know as soon as you've created your feedback page on your website, I will gladly give you some feedback, I think the beauty of having your own feedback page, is a client can give a more descriptive form of feedback, unlike the rather generic feedback on eBay. That said, I would give you more that a 10 out of 10 for what you did and the service ....well only one word to describe it... Superb!

Best wishes

Mike

Yes thank you very much I think Mike would have loved the restored handle and saya and thank you for those kind words.  He was a very thoughtful man and enjoyed his Tai Chi together
with his shuriken. I will send you a cheque for the postage, and thank you once again.

Kind regards

Carol

Tony Canervan,

Hi,

Great Job on the Tsuka! Will show it off to my fellow collectors,It came as a koshirae i bet the blade would have been cracker??had to get a tsunagi made, thanks again for a great job,Tony.

Thank you very much for the Tsuka, I just picked it up from the post office.

It's great! Looks very nice on the wakizashi, will look even better when I get round to lacquering the saya!

I think the ito colour works well with the fittings; I was worried that the horn kashira would look a bit odd, but it looks ok.

Very happy with the wrap; very professionally done.

Will definitely be in touch for the future as I have just bought a Tanto in Shirasaya (see attached), that will need koshirae!

All the best, take care of yourself, and many thanks for a great job, well done!

Yours aye,

Richard Trounson

Its world famous collection is now displayed in five galleries that illustrate the development of arms and amour from around the world. The extensive Japanese collection contains many important swords and amour  including two sets of amour given to European Monarchs during the 16th and 17th centuries.

The proposed seminar, initiated by the NBTHK European Branch, is also open to members from The Northern To-Ken Society and the To-Ken Society of Britain.

The program will include a series of lectures, an opportunity to handle blades from the Royal Armouries Museum’s collection and a conducted tour of the Oriental Gallery.

It will be a unique opportunity to meet members of other groups and share information and experiences relating to the many different aspects of this absorbing subject.
